Total Immersion Simulation Systems (TIS2) is an experience based learning environment that encourages and reinforces the importance of preplanning, information sharing, decision-making and the necessity of highly cooperative interaction for quick and effective response to all-hazard incidents.

We use a “systems approach” to hardware, software and learning by creating virtual worlds and interactive simulation coupled with an “active learner” approach to learning.

Training in the TIS₂ environment helps incident managers and frontline first responders to clarify the lines of responsibility, improve decision-making and promote cooperation and coordination.
